Grade 10 Design Tech students completed the Design for Climate Action project. This 10-week research and design project culminated in teams testing their prototype floating islands - designed to support a family living in the floodplains of Bangladesh and coping with rising sea levels and frequent cyclones. Using a combination of 3D printing and traditional physical modeling skills each team designed, built, and tested their islands - with varying degrees of success!
