Students immersed in visual arts, filmmaking, theater, and music call the Dennis Gallagher Arts Pavilion home. Formerly a Harley Davidson showroom, the Arts Pavilion first opened its doors in 2009. Nestled in San Francisco’s cultural corridor, it offers three floors of open, light-filled space and state-of-the-art facilities.
The 7,000-square-foot top floor of the Arts Pavilion is dedicated entirely to theater studies, and Back à Dos, our after-school performing arts program. Whether acting, directing, costume-making, or designing sets, our students become versed at every aspect of theater, all the while fostering community and a collaborative spirit.
The main floor of the Pavilion houses our visual arts program, which includes painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media. Not only do students create in this space, they also regularly put their creative fruit on display.
The basement of the Pavilion welcomes our student musicians and filmmakers. Whether in group areas or individual practice rooms, students spend countless hours practicing and editing… all with the goal of bringing their work to the stage or screen.
