Students Give Back Two Ways on Election Day
Posted 09/22/2017 11:00AM

In November 2016, students from the Class of 2017 volunteered at the polls and donated the stipends they earned to our international service project, Project Senegal

Liora '17 was one of 21 International High School students who volunteered that day. She shared about the decision to donate stipends to our sister school in Senegal. "Since 2007 we have been funding and helped to build a K-6 grade school in Senegal in some of the most poverty-stricken and rural areas. Our funds go towards providing the children with healthcare, additional Kindergarten teachers, and one meal a day. It's definitely a worthwhile cause, and something that's really important to my school."
