Ebersole '12 Walks Onto Stanford Women's Basketball Team
Posted 10/22/2012 09:00PM
French American International School and International High School are pleased to announce that "lifer" and 2012 graduate, Denia Ebersole, realized her goal and walked onto the Stanford women's basketball team this fall. Stanford is currently ranked third in the nation for women's basketball. As a freshman and at only 5'6", she's already making impressions and being recognized for her skill and confidence in the game.

While at International High School, Denia exemplified leadership on the Varsity Basketball team, but she also rose to excellence off the court. In addition to playing club basketball and coaching other students, Denia pursued the French Baccalaureate and participated in two-long term exchanges abroad.

Listen to Denia and other class of 2012 graduates discuss their experience at International High School.

"Research shows that younger children have a superior ability to learn a second language and that bilingual students tend to outperform their monolingual peers."
