60th Anniversary Timeline

"What is history? An echo of the past in the future; a reflex from the future on the past."
—Victor Hugo

We open the 2022–2023 academic year with a celebration of our 60th anniversary, reflecting on our founding mission as a French, American, and international school and on the fidelity to mission and commitment to innovation that have allowed our school to flourish for the past six decades.

To commemorate this milestone, former Dean of Admission Andrew Brown has mined French American and International's rich history to tell our story. His forthcoming chronicle will be a companion piece to A Look Back, a commemorative text composed in 2012 in honor of our 50th anniversary. Retelling the story of our origins with a focus on the past 10 years, this upcoming publication will showcase how history has shaped not only our present, but also our future.

An echo of the past in the future; a reflex from the future on the past—our 60th anniversary is an occasion in the present to appreciate where we have come from, and anticipate where we will go. Join us on the journey by viewing some of the highlights on the interactive timeline above.
