Admission Process

Create a Ravenna account.

On Ravenna, you can explore our school, register for admission events, and submit an application.

Keeping our health and safety in mind, our admissions events include both virtual and in person events.  Register on Ravenna for a Student Campus Visit, Parent/Guardian Event, Virtual Student Meet and Greet, and Open House. 

Submit Your Parent/Guardian Application Form

Submit your Parent/Guardian Application Form, application fee or fee waiver, and schedule your child's virtual interview.

A virtual interview is required of all applicants. The interview schedule is available now in Ravenna. The Parent/Guardian Application form must be completed before scheduling the interview.

Request Recommendation Forms

Separate recommendation forms need to be completed by the following:

• Your current Principal/Counselor
• Your current English teacher 
• Your current Math teacher

Through Ravenna you will delegate the forms to your specific teachers who will submit them electronically.

Request Official Transcripts

Your parents/guardians must complete the Transcript Release Form and give it to your school counselor or registrar to request your seventh grade and eighth grade transcripts. The transcripts can be scanned and uploaded to Ravenna or mailed in a sealed envelope to International by the application deadline.

Complete Your Application

Submit the remaining forms for your application through Ravenna by January 9, 2024. These forms include the Student Activity & Interest Form and Student Essay. These materials must by submitted by the deadline.

Submit your PFS by January 9, 2024, and your 2023 tax return by February 16, 2024.

International Applicants

International High School welcomes applications from international students. International offers challenging and rigorous academic programs which require a high level of fluency in English and/or French. For more information on our academic programs please visit the Academic Programs section of the website.

The school is authorized under Federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students.

The school does not currently have boarding facilities for students. Applicants from outside the US must meet the same requirements as local applicants.
