Different types of students of flourish at International. You can be outwardly confident or on the quiet side; but you must be excited to explore your passions and, on your best days, inspire your teachers and your peers. If you want to take risks, imagine, create, and question, you will be in the right place. If you want to challenge yourself—and your teachers—and engage in a rigorous curriculum embedded in a global perspective, alongside the most interesting, diverse, and sophisticated group of friends and classmates in the city, then you and International High School will be a great match.

Above all, we want to be available to you. Please contact us if you need more information about a topic that interests you or if you need additional materials. For high school admissions, please contact Andrew Brown, Dean of Admissions; Erin Cronin, Associate Director of Admissions; or Lauren Stoxen, High School Admissions Coordinator.

There is no better way to see what we do than to come to an Open House, schedule a tour of campus, attend one of our community events, or yes—join us for a Mango Tango. Our doors are open, and we look forward to welcoming you in person soon.

At International, making friends is easy.

The Grade 9 year begins with an exhilarating three-day Freshman Retreat that rapidly establishes early friendships and binds the class together. You will quickly surround yourself with unique, interesting, and passionate people who will become your lifelong friends.

The Retreat includes dynamic team-building activities and camping under the stars. Students are invited to step beyond their comfort zone, tackling ropes courses, collaborative problem-solving activities, and adrenaline-filled white water rafting.

"Highly selective institutions like Stanford perceive IB students as strongly prepared, capable, ready to take on the challenges of the curriculum that we offer. When we see an IB student's application, we light up." -Assistant Dean of Admission at Stanford University, Debra Von Bargen
