News and reflections from International High School.
Regular classes ended today at International, and all that is left now, between your student(s) and their summer break, is four days of final exams!
Today was the last day for our French Bac seniors who will be taking their first official written exam next Tuesday; a right of passage for French Bac students, the four hour-long philosophy exam! I still remember the question I was asked to tackle a long long time ago as a Bac candidate!
On behalf of the entire high school team and faculty, I would like to thank the parents association and all the volunteers who have made us feel special and appreciated this week! Everybody is talking about the delicious breakfasts and we are all ready for the coffee truck tomorrow!
Yesterday, we had our Student Council (STUCO) elections assembly and the spring-like weather we had was perfect for that event. It always happens when there is this sense of renewal in High School with seniors about to leave and the upcoming class of rising freshmen eager to join, and it usually gives us a good indication of the climate and spirit in our school.
