Dear Prospective Students and Families,

We are pleased you are including International in your high school search. We understand that choosing a high school can be a challenging experience, but we also see it as a wonderful opportunity for self-discovery. Please do not hesitate to contact our office with questions at any time throughout the year.

International provides students with an academically rigorous, all-honors educational program in a multi-cultural, international setting. Entering grade nine students need not speak French or any other second language. Students at International choose between the prestigious International Baccalaureate program and for the accomplished francophone, the French Baccalaureate program. Both programs serve our school’s mission: to prepare graduates for a world in which the ability to think critically and communicate across cultures is of paramount importance.

Each year, International admits students from public, private, and parochial schools in the Bay Area and throughout the world. Motivated and inquisitive, these students are independent thinkers who embrace learning and value diverse perspectives. As you explore our web site, please keep in mind that the best way to experience our vibrant community is to visit our campus, either by attending an Open House or scheduling a half-day class visit. We look forward to meeting you, answering your questions, and introducing you to all the wonderful opportunities available at International High School.

Best of luck with your high school search!
