Our school’s emphasis on teaching students to respect, appreciate and learn from the diversity they encounter in the world truly comes alive during the numerous exchange trips we offer throughout the academic year. These excursions, which are cultural, academic or linguistic in nature, enhance our students’ globally focused education outside the classroom and enrich their linguistic proficiency. Additionally, the shared student experiences create a notable school and class spirit. Click on each trip for more details.
EXCHANGES & TRAVEL PROGRAMS (2009-2010):

- Linguistic trips: language classes, cultural activities and home-stay in Latin America, Italy, China and France.
- Cultural / Community Service Trips: cultural excursions in Germany and in India.
- Short-term cultural exchange: two-week cultural exchange with France (8th grade) or Tahiti (10th grade) for students bilingual in French. Students will be hosted by local families, and will welcome their correspondents in their own homes as well.
- Long-term academic exchange (France): six to eight-week exchange for students bilingual in French who will follow classes at the Ecole Alsacienne in Paris, France. Students will also have to host their visiting correspondent who will follow classes in San Francisco. Read three students' perspective on this cultural exchange
