2010 Dress giveaways: get a dress with the princess project
The Princess Project strives to promote self-confidence and individual beauty by providing free prom dresses & accessories to high school girls who could not otherwise afford them. Since 2002, The Princess Project has made prom a reality for over 12,000 Bay Area & San Diego high school girls! In 2009 alone we helped send over 3,400 girls to their high school prom!
Dress giveaway dates have been announced!
- East Bay: Saturday, March 6* and Saturday, March 13
- Silicon Valley*: Saturday, March 6, Sunday, March 7, Wednesday, March 31, Saturday, April 10, Sunday, April 11
- San Diego*: Friday, March 29, Saturday, March 20, Sunday, March 21, and Saturday, March 27
- San Francisco: Saturday, March 20 and Saturday, March 27

A Pretty Penny: help us send a girl to prom
The Princess Project is a 100% volunteer-led organization, and we depend on the generosity of our community to help us continue to serve over 3,000 girls a year. It's our goal at The Princess Project to give each girl the "tulles" they need to enjoy their high school experience and prepare for a bright future, and your help will help us continue to serve our diverse group of participants. A donation of just $25 dollars sends a girl to her prom through The Princess Project, complete with a dress and accessory. Every donation helps!

In just a few short weeks, we'll be helping over 3,000 teens find the dress of their dreams. We hope you'll join us along the way! Our Bay Area dress drives start this week, where we'll be collecting your new or gently used dresses and getting them ready to send home with a grateful teen. And, we would love to see your smiling faces at any one of our dress sorting and set up days. Help us make prom a reality for teens throughout California!
As you clean out your closets, think of The Princess Project and the new life and memories waiting to be breathed into your dresses and accessories. We are grateful to all of our donors! We particularly are in need of fancy jewelry, purses, wraps, and new or nearly new gowns in EXCELLENT condition in all fabrics, sizes, and colors that meet our strict Donation Guidelines.
